The Star Trek 25th Anniversary Special was a television special that originally aired the week of 28 September 1991. It was hosted by William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy and featured interviews with Gene Roddenberry, DeForest Kelley, George Takei, John Tesh, Walter Koenig, Nichelle Nichols, Ricardo Montalban, and fan club president Dan Madsen among others. It was a 90 minute special, aired in a two hour time slot. Prior to the special airing, a Star Trek Viewers Choice Marathon aired in most markets. Some markets aired a full version, but others aired an abbreviated version.

The show featured clips from the Original Series and the Next Generation, and behind the scenes moments from both Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. LeVar Burton also gave a brief tour of Space Camp.

It was released on video by CIC Video in the UK in 1991 (attached to the Star Trek: The Movies - 25th Anniversary Collectors Set), and in the US in early 1998.
