Starbase 212 is a Federation starbase located near the Klingon border.
In 2369, the USS Enterprise-D asked the starbase to help in the search for Aquiel Uhnari.
Later on, Lt. J.G. Uhnari transferred from Relay Station 47 to Starbase 212 to wait for reassignment. (TNG: "Aquiel")
