Sugar candy is a sweet food item typically made from crystallized sugar. Most sugar candy is made by dissolving sugar in water or milk to form a syrup, and boiling it until it starts to caramelize.
In 2347, seven year old Ro Laren was shown the true nature of Bajor's Cardassian occupation when she was given a piece of sugar candy by a Cardassian who led her to a room where she found her father, Ro Gale.
