Susie Crabtree was a 24th century Human female and the first love of Tom Paris.

When she left him in his first year at the Starfleet Academy, Paris felt deeply depressed and couldn't get out of bed for a week. He almost failed Stellar Cartography because of her; he eventually got over her, but "walked around in a daze" for the rest of that year. (VOY: "Lifesigns")
