A tactical data module is a device used on Federation starships such as the Intrepid-class.

Tom Paris, under the influence of the sentient ship Alice, asked for USS Voyager's spare tactical data module with which to repair "her" in 2376. Chakotay refused as they were necessary emergency supplies, so Paris resorted to taking a module from section beta-12 without authorization. (VOY: "Alice")
