[edit] Odd Phrasing?

This is an oddly worded article in places. It reads as if written by someone trying to impress an English teacher with their verbiage. Especially the following quote: "When Voyager's master and commander, Captain Kathryn Janeway". All of it seems accurate, and is (almost exceedingly) "proper" English, so no changes have been made to the actual article, but I think it read strangely.
