The following section (added by CmdrTim) was removed, as it fits better on the observation lounge page:

On Galaxy-class vessels, the briefing room was located on the port side of the bridge, towards the rear, adjacent to the science stations and opposite the turbolift.

The walls of the USS Enterprise-D briefing room were lined with scale models of the previous ships to be named USS Enterprise. This feature was also incorporated into the USS Enterprise-E. Those models were broken in 2371, when Jean-Luc Picard slammed a phaser rifle into the display during an argument with Lily Sloane. (Star Trek: First Contact)

Since this article is divided into class specific sections, why can't those sections be placed into respective sections of the referenced class articles? --Alan del Beccio 18:28, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
