[edit] DoB

This article quotes a birthday of August 28, 1953 yet IMDb and wikipedia both quote 2 March 1949. Somewhat of a difference ... anyone know which is correct / evidence to prove? --VampWillow 21:22, 9 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Hm, I'd go with August 28th, 1953, then I'd go fix those others. My source is the more-likely-credible "Star Trek: Ships of the Line (2003)" Calendar, and several fan sites that say both. Since the Star trek Calendar is a licensed product, I'd go with that until a solid answer is found. -AJHalliwell 22:13, 9 Jul 2005 (UTC)
August 28, 1953 is the "official" birthdate used in Paramount promotional material ([1]) and what I think we should stick with unless something else comes along stating otherwise... although it seems as if March 2, 1953 is her actual birthday ([2]). -- SmokeDetector47 // talk 22:21, 9 Jul 2005 (UTC)
If she already admitted the March 2nd, 1949 date was her real birthdate, shouldn't we keep it that way? It would be misinformation otherwise, wouldn't it? --From Andoria with Love 18:00, 18 Aug 2005 (UTC)
She apparently admitted March 2, 1953, but again, this information is secondhand and from a fan site and isn't confirmed or official. Same with IMDb; anyone can change anything on that site. I'd stay with the Paramount-sanctioned date just like any other issue with regard to canon. -- SmokeDetector47 // talk 18:20, 18 Aug 2005 (UTC)
IMDb cannot be changed by anyone. All updates must have a reasonable source, are reviewed by the staff. Second, canon applies to fiction. There is no such thing as canon dates of birth for actors. I was looking on ussearch.com, and there is one record: CHERYL G. MCFADDEN - 56 - Residences: Silver Lake, OH, Los Angeles, CA. --This user is not Jesus 10:12, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
It just changed to 57 today. heh.--This user is not Jesus 23:22, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
Beyond that, didn't she give a fake birthdate becuase she didn't want people to know her real birthdate? Just a question in regards to giving respect to her wishes in the matter... -- Captain M.K. Barteltalk 23:29, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
If she's been trying to keep it a secret, she's done a really sloppy job. If she doesn't want us to know her birthday, then we should just put "March, 1949".--This user is not Jesus 23:32, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

After looking into it a little more, I've found that she was definitely NOT born in 1953. It says right on the Brandeis website that she graduated in 1970.[3]. --This user is not Jesus 00:12, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
