[edit] "Traditional" wedding

I am wondering if that paragraph is appropriate, as such a wedding has not been seen in exactly that manner. Also, what is "traditional" today may not be 300 years into the future.--31dot 12:46, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Removed the following:

On Earth, a traditional wedding involves a woman in an elegant white dress, being "given away" by her father down past long rows of chair where she will take her place beside her husband-to-be. The minister would then began their vows. Once both people say "I do", the minister pronounces them "Husband and wife" and then they kiss.

as I don't recall such a wedding being depicted in Trek. It should be restored if a citation can be found.--31dot 21:50, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
