This conversation has come up previously as the episode primarily takes place in 2370, but people often add 2365 as a year. Now, from what I recall from both the episode itself and the DS9 Companion both note that the stuff in the past actually all takes place in Odo's mind as opposed to actually taking the characters back and altering their appearances and doing lots of hoodah time-travel stuff. So... the episode doesn't take place in 2365 at all. Just the memory of events does. -- Sulfur 20:04, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The Glitch
The "continuity glitch" discussed in the background information is not necessarily a glitch. The uniforms of the Cardassians seen in the TNG episodes could of been different due to their different locations, or roles in the Cardassian military. – The preceding unsigned comment was added by Vince47 (talk • contribs) .
