From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference.

Is this correctly named or should it be Orpheus Mining colony, to conform with all the other lowercase "colonies"? --Gvsualan 01:35, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I believe that because it was a business venture owned by Paxton, it probably should be wholly capitalized. — THOR 23:55, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I removed the following:

[edit] Background

Art appears to immitate real life in the Orpheus Mining Patch. It bares some similarity to the ubiquitous hammer and sickle emblem used by the former Soviet Union and its sattelite nations and allies. The vertical icon resembles the paintbrush, a common addition to the emblem which often appears on banners in the Communist ruled North Korea. The paintbrush representing scholarship.

The 4 tools seen on the patch are a hammer, a pickax, a chisel (horizontal) and a candle, not a brush (vertical). This makes much more sense, as these are typical mining tools, the candle shedding light in the dark mining shafts, no brush is needed there. Furthermore, I don't see any point in the Communist reference, or why "Art appears to immitate real life" in this context. --Jörg 20:55, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
