From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference

An anon recently changed all the Saavedra's to Saavdra, so I looked it up, and he might be right. [1] spells it that way, and it is a transcript from the closed caption text as I understand it. The CC text comes from the script. Where did the current spelling come from? --Bp 08:37, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

It's also "Saavdra" in the Star Trek: Voyager Companion, and, what is most important, Janeway, Chakotay, Paris and Neelix all call him "Saavdra", not Saavedra. --Jörg 09:43, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
