From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference

After finding a lot of erroneous information in articles related to "Elaan of Troyius", I've rewritten several. This particular article was trimmed quite a bit, as facts unrelated to the planet itself are covered in better detail elsewhere. The note of the .037 ly distance from Elas is an accurate recall from the episode but pretty useless - the distance between orbiting planets is dramatically variable over time.
