Wasn't the Drake Riker turned down the one the same one that was destroyed on Minos? I seem to recall that Rice took command because Riker turned it down. --Steve 19:40, 17 Jul 2004 (CEST)

In the episode "The Arsenal of Freedom", Lt. Yar states that Riker "turned down command of the Drake to take this assignment", which I assume is the XO position for the Enterprise. Does this not suggest that he was offered command BEFORE becoming the XO? If so, then this would differ from the current summary. User:128.253.66.16 18:09, 14 December 2006
