Talk:Vaadwaur
From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference
I think this article needs some definite work, especially with cites, formatting and topic separation. - Adm. Enzo Aquarius 23:33, 23 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Is this article really necessary? We've only seen them in one or two episodes, so I don't think there will be enough content. I think it can be better served merged into the main Vaadwaur page. - AJHalliwell 23:48, 23 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- The one episode in question is Dragon's Teeth. Vaadwaur were also shown in Tsunkatse, but that was just a simple audience appearance. Technically the Vaadwaur are 'aliens of the week', but they were developed more than usual. I think Vaadwaur history could be made in the Vaadwaur article itself. - Adm. Enzo Aquarius 23:53, 23 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Agreed, it should be merged... if all of this is, in fact, canonically correct. --From Andoria with Love 01:15, 24 Oct 2005 (UTC)
[edit] merge/pna
Alright, I have never seen this episode, or havent recently enough to admit I recall it...but someone with a better grasp on completting the species/history merge. --Alan del Beccio 01:32, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
- There have been major edits since, so I just removed the pna template. If someone still think this needs work, please specify. -- Cid Highwind 13:56, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] idle speculation
Is it possible that the Vaadwaur are related to, or are in fact, the Hur'q?
- What possible reason would there be to think that? --OuroborosCobra talk 17:36, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
I was not the one adding this speculation, but I can see why someone would. Both species were around about the same time and appeared to have the same MO. On the other hand, there would have been as many hostile races 1000 years ago as there are now. AyalaofBorg 02:11, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Necks
Does anybody know if the necks are a reuse of the Cardassian necks? --Morder 07:19, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
