Talk:Vinci

Are you sure this character is called Vinzi? Because I would assume that this character was played by Frank da Vinci and not John Cavett -- Kobi 20:07, 21 Dec 2004 (CET)

That's what the name sounds like to me, and the closed captioning confirms it. Besides, we know da Vinci was playing Osborne because he played the same character in "A Taste of Armageddon". -- Steve 20:13, 21 Dec 2004 (CET)
I have to confirm this, but I'm very certain Frank da Vinci did only play a science officer in "A Taste of Armageddon" -- Kobi 20:53, 21 Dec 2004 (CET)
I have just finished watching "Devil in the Dark", my subtitles say the character is called Vinci. I also watched Armageddon and da Vinci was sitting on the Bridge in a blue uniform, while some other actor was performing Osborne. I have watched the second briefing in the main tunnel and noticed something strange, Giotto orders Vinci and Lewis to take their man out. Davis Roberts (Lewis) exits with the man who played Osborne (not da Vinci) and Eddie Paskey and William Blackburn leave too, da Vinci follows Giotto as does Ron Veto plus some unknown actor. So a) either Paskey (=Leslie) or Blackburn (=Hadley) are named Vinci and Giotto leads a team of four or b) Giotto doesn't lead a four man team, but there are four two man teams, led by Giotto, Lewis, Vinci and Leslie. To sum up: I'm confused, but fact is, Vinzi is the wrong spelling and since the subtitles say Vinci it is more than safe to assume he was played by Frank da Vinci... -- Kobi 22:29, 21 Dec 2004 (CET)
Well, work it out how you like. This is not my area of expertise. -- Steve 00:16, 22 Dec 2004 (CET)
