Temple was a nurse aboard the USS Enterprise-D, she held the rank of Lieutenant junior grade.

In 2366, she was one of the medical staff assigned to monitor "John Doe", an evolving Zalkonian. (TNG: "Transfigurations")

Nurse Temple was played by actress Patti Tippo, not to be confused with Patti Yasutake, who played Nurse Ogawa.

Nurse Temple was named in homage to Nurse Chapel, as a chapel and a temple are both houses of worship.
