The tetryon pulse launcher is a type of anti-personnel weapon which fires pulsed tetryon particles. In 2375, Captain Jean-Luc Picard took eight tetryon pulse launchers on his mission to help the Ba'ku resist forced resettlement by the Son'a. (Star Trek: Insurrection)

It has been suggested by some the shoulder-held cannon used by Worf was a tetryon pulse launcher.

Tetryons can disable directed energy weapons, making a tetryon pulse launcher a possible denial weapon. (DS9: "Blood Oath")
