The Great Forest is part of the afterlife in Talaxian spirituality. It is said to be a beautiful, sunlit forest surrounding the Guiding Tree, where the deceased will meet a close family member and be lead to a reunion with his or her ancestors. (VOY: "Mortal Coil")
