Thomas Raymond was a 24th century Human, born on stardate 38024.1; the 5th-great-grandson of 20th century Clare and Donald Raymond, whom he looked a lot like.

In 2364, he lived outside Indianapolis on the North American continent on Earth. His exact address was: 4877-334 Indiana Park, Indianapolis, North Am, Earth.

At the time he was a professor of exobiology at the Indiana State University. He was married to Louise Cara Conway and had two children Darrell Oja Raymond, age 4 and Mary Catherine Raymond, age 7. (TNG: "The Neutral Zone")

The face of Thomas was in fact the face of Star Trek producer Peter Lauritson.
