Timothy "Tim" P. Trella is a stuntman, stunt actor and stunt coordinator who performed stunts in several episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation and in Star Trek: Insurrection. He received no credit for his television appearances. Trella was the first person ever who portrayed a Borg.

Among his stunt resume are films such as Chopping Mall (1986, with Dick Miller, Gerrit Graham, and stunts by Tony Cecere), Shocker (1989, with John Tesh, Dendrie Taylor, Brent Spiner, and stunts by Charlie Brewer, Dennis Madalone, and Patricia Tallman), Guyver (1991, with Michael Berryman, Spice Williams-Crosby, Jeffrey Combs, and stunts by Dennis Madalone, Brian Simpson, and Merritt Yohnka), Army of Darkness (1992, with Ian Abercrombie, Patricia Tallman, Rad Milo, and stunts by Dennis Madalone, Brian J.
