Trianium particles are particles emitted by some types of fusion-based energy sources, such as those used by the Briori.

In 2372, trianium particle readings led an away team from the USS Voyager to a cryostasis chamber, where they found several abducted Humans from Earth's 20th century. (VOY: "The 37's")
