USS Cochrane

The USS Cochrane (NCC-59318) was a Federation starship, in service during the late 24th century, that was involved in the Dominion War.

In 2374, the Cochrane reported numerous crew casualties, which were displayed on a LCARS display aboard Deep Space 9. (DS9: "In the Pale Moonlight")

Named after the inventor of warp drive, Zefram Cochrane. According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia the Cochrane was the Oberth-class vessel that transported Dax and Bashir to DS9, appearing in "Emissary". For more information see unnamed Oberth-class starships.
