The USS Yukon was a Danube-class Federation runabout in service in 2372 while stationed at Deep Space 9.
Miles O'Brien and Major Kira Nerys were returning to DS9 aboard the Yukon when they witnessed the detonation of a cloaked Klingon mine. (DS9: "Sons of Mogh")
A year later, the Yukon was stolen by a Changeling impersonating Julian Bashir. The Changeling had modified the Yukon to withstand the heat of the Bajoran sun as well as equipped the runabout with trilithium, tekasite, and protomatter, ingredients which would destroy the entire Bajoran system. The Yukon was being tractored away from the sun when the bomb exploded, destroying the ship. (DS9: "By Inferno's Light")
