This Ankari captain was contacted by Kathryn Janeway in hopes that they could call off the attackes by the nucleogenic lifeforms. The Ankari Captain was afraid of USS Voyager and refused to respond until Voyager traped them in a tractor beam. The captain told Janeway that the lifeforms were attacking because the crew of the USS Equinox was killing them. He then told Janeway that he would contact the lifeforms but Janeway had to talk to them not him. He served as a translator between her and the lifeforms. (VOY: "Equinox, Part II")
