I was impressed by the recent changes to the Wikipedia article for DS9, but when I went to the list of DS9 episodes, it referred me here. Then again, just about every Wikipedia article related to Trek links here. Anyway, I have to say I'm very impressed. :)

Big fan of the minor background characters nobody gives a damn about (yes, I'm one of those geeks who goes "Ooh, ahh, continuity!"), and I think that's one of the things that made DS9 stick out so much. Its only real flaw was that it actually tried to be a traditional Trek series when it should have been a serial from the beginning. As long as they incorporated "issue shows" into the story arcs the way "The Siege of AR-558" and "Far Beyond the Stars" did, serialization would have made DS9 all too perfect. But that's why God created BSG I guess.

[edit] Favorites and stuff

Favorite series (best to worst): DS9 (duh), TNG, TOS; ENT and VOY are about the same, both had their moments but both were just so-so overall

Favorite character: I'd have to say Q

Least favorite character: Kes, especially after seeing her eat worms while on her period

Favorite ep: Eight ball says ask again later (still can't decide)
