Valerie Canamar was a member of the production staff of Star Trek. She served as makeup artist Michael Westmore's assistant during multiple seasons of Star Trek: Voyager, and was credited as his assistant in Star Trek: Insurrection.
Her name was used for two on screen references in the Trek universe. A crewmember of USS Voyager named Valerie Canamar was listed on a crew manifest seen in "Projections", and a prison planet named Canamar was featured in a Star Trek: Enterprise episode, also named "Canamar".
