Vincent Van Dyke is a make-up effects artist, painter and sculptor who recently worked as a sculptor and lab tech for the Proteus Make-up FX Team on Star Trek. He did the same thing for the 2006 motion picture Mission: Impossible III, which, like Star Trek, was directed by J.J. Abrams.

His effects work on the TV shows Strong Medicine, Medium and Scrubs were also done as part of the Proteus FX team. For Tom Burman and Bari Dreiband-Burman's Burman Studio, Van Dyke has provided special effects makeup for the hit medical television shows Grey's Anatomy and Nip/Tuck, as well as TV's The Closer and the film Camille.
