Vital Distraction is a computer modeling and previsualization company that worked with Persistence of Vision Digital Entertainment (POV) to design several previsualization sequences for Star Trek. [1]
Formed in 2002, Vital Distraction previously worked with POV on films such as Flight of the Phoenix, xXx: State of the Union and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. They have also done television work, including several commercials and the creation of the opening titles and graphics for the game shows Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune. Their work on the former has been nominated for an Emmy Award.
