Warp energy

Warp energy is a layman's term for the subspace field energy exerted by a starship's warp drive. It could also refer to the high-energy plasma outputted by the starship's main power plant (such as a matter/antimatter reactor) meant to power the warp drive. (VOY: "Fury")
