The Xindi bioweapon was an alternate method of wiping out Humanity devised by the Xindi-Reptilian scientist Damron.

To gather the neccessary biological information, the Reptilians placed an operative, Rajiin, on board Enterprise who was capable of scanning people with her hands. She had scanned several crewmembers by the time her true goal was discovered. She was locked in the brig, but a group of Reptilians and Insectoids freed her. Despite the fact that this won Kiaphet Amman'sor's vote in favor of the bioweapon, the Xindi Council still elected to abandon the bioweapon project and ordered that it be shut down.

Without the Council's knowledge, Damron and his team were brought by the Guardians to the year 2004 on Earth, where they could complete their preparations and utilize the weapon in secret. However, Daniels transported Jonathan Archer and T'Pol to 2004 as well to stop the Reptilians. They were successful in doing so, and they recovered the bioweapon materials, which were put in storage and later used to convince the Xindi-Primate and Xindi-Arboreal representatives Degra and Jannar of the Guardians' treachery.

The bioweapon required samples of all eight types of Human blood to be properly calibrated. While in 2004, the Reptilians hired a man named Loomis to obtain samples of all these blood types for them.
